The definition of RF microwave PCB is that they have components that carry RF or microwave signals. In frequency from, 50MHz to above 2 GHz there is variation in the signals, and in components between RF and microwave PCBs and other PCB types, these frequencies define the differences.
These applications typically need laminates with specialized electrical, thermal, mechanical, or other performance characteristics that then exceed those of traditional standard FR-4 materials.
