Job Description:
The main "Shift Execution Anchor" and "Manufacturing Flow Guardian" of our actual production facilities is the Production Engineer - Manufacturing Industries. While quality engineers enforce product standards and maintenance engineers concentrate on equipment reliability, your main responsibility is to oversee daily shop-floor production, maximise line throughput, simplify assembly/machining workflows, and maintain shift output targets. This includes assigning workers to the shop floor, balancing line cycle times, removing production bottlenecks, carrying out Standard Operating Procedures, and implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts. As the "Guardian of Overall Equipment Effectiveness, First Time Through Yield, Shift Output Targets, On-Time In-Full Delivery, and Scrap Reduction," you assume direct execution responsibility for transforming production schedules, bill of materials, and raw material inputs into highly effective, audit-ready daily manufacturing outputs.

Key Skills:
Production Planning & production Operations: In-depth practical knowledge of work-in-progress (WIP) management, shop floor scheduling, assembly line balance, and high-volume or batch production processes.
Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, Takt Time Calculation, and SMED are examples of Lean Core Tools.
Root Cause Analysis & Process Improvement: Practical experience using 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), 5-Why, and Pareto analysis techniques to isolate production abnormalities.
Shop-Floor Leadership & Resource Allocation: Excellent managerial and communication abilities to manage staff shifts, inspire shop-floor operators, and settle interdepartmental disputes on short notice.
