Description
In a broader sense, the basis of the permanent mold casting process is very much similar to any casting process. Into a mold cavity a molten raw material is fed, which is then allowed to cool, and then removed from the mold. In the case of permanent molds, when the material has cooled the mold is created in two halves and is separated.
