National Institute of Technology NITK Surathkal

A public technical university of national importance, NIT Surathkal also known as NITK Surathkal is a National Institute of Technology [NITK] of Karnataka. Currently, we have 31 NITK, and more will be added in the near future. Over the years, NITK Surathkal has evolved in accordance with industry demands, resulting in students who have achieved fame in all walks of life. Furthermore, there are a number of cultural clubs and student organizations for overall student wellbeing at the institute, which is located on national highway 66.
The National Institute of Technology Karnataka is now 62 years old. It was founded in 1960, celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2009, and celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in 2019. After taking over Mysore University as its affiliate, the institute soon moved to Mangalore University. NIRF ranked the college as 13th in their latest ranking, which makes it a highly sought-after college. It has a Central Library and Computer Centre, Career Development Centre, Health Care Centre, Hostel & canteen, Sports, etc.
