National Institute of Technology - [NITJSR] is a Public state University situated in Jharkhand, India. It was established in 1960 accredited by AICTE; MHRD, Govt. of India. Furthermore, it is one of eight National Institutes of Technology set up within India's second five-year plan (1956-1961). A total of 150 administrative and supportive staff work at NIT Jamshedpur. Set up in the heart of the natural resource and economic region in Jharkhand, the university has a long history of excellence.
The college offers 27 courses in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations, including engineering, architecture, physics, computer science, and more. It has world class infrastructure, SBI branch, an ATM, 13 hostels, a library, a comfort room, football, General Store, Bank and Post Office, Transport, Medical Aid, volleyball, badminton, and tennis courts, and a wireless LAN that connects the hostels and offices.
