Wild Edge Woodcraft is part of Serenity Meadows Farm LLC, a family-owned agriculture business run by my wife (Shannon) and me (Avery). Together, we raise 3 sons, lots of animals, sustainably manage 15 acres of old-growth hardwood forest, and provide a variety of wood products and services.
Sawmill Services
From tree removal to fine furniture creation, we handle every step in the process. We offer plainsawn, quartersawn, and ultra-wide slabbing. We can saw HUGE LOGS up to 8 feet wide!
We also offer portable sawmilling services through the North Carolina Sawyers Guild - a network of professional Sawyers who are experienced and certified to mill and sticker properly.
Live Edge Slab Sales
In addition to offering a variety of slab sizes and species, we offer the guarantee that our kiln drying process complies with USDA phytosanitary regulations.Since we dry our wood with Vacuum Kiln Technology, we can assure you that all of our kiln-dried wood has been decontaminated, sanitized, and left free of any of the living bugs that once resided in the tree.
Tree and Log Removal Services
If your tree has decay-producing fungi like mushrooms, extreme bark peeling, cracks forming in the trunk, rot, or dead hanging branches in the upper crown, then it’s probably time to have it removed.

Kiln Drying Services
We are thrilled to offer wood drying and sterilization services with our iDRY+ Vacuum Kilns. Vacuum kiln technology is particularly good for drying thick/wide slabs all the way to the core of the wood. We run a high-heat “sterilization cycle” that exceeds USDA standards to ensure no bugs, mold, fungus, worms or other nasties crawl out of your finished furniture!
