Wisdom tooth removal is the surgical procedure to remove one or more wisdom teeth- the four permanent teeth located at the back corners of your mouth in the upper and lower arch.
Sometimes, these teeth don’t have enough space to emerge or develop normally. These can be determined by taking a full mouth X-Ray. In this procedure, anaesthesia is injected and a cut is made in the gums, and the tooth is removed either as a whole piece or in pieces. Usually, no pain is encountered because of the effect of the anaesthesia.
