The Pass Box allows cassettes to be transported to and from the darkroom deprived of the concern of light or radioactivity inflowing. Extra heavy-duty structure with double light and radioactivity traps, 2” x 3” pivots (fused to the doors), and fused metal strengthening yield a superior dresser intended to stand up to the misuse of a busy section. These pass boxes made by the Pass box manufacturers (except for the physical models) include automatic intertwining doors. Unlocking one door mechanically bolts the opposite door. Unprotected and unexposed sections are autonomously controlled, authorizing concurrent use of both sections from the opposite side. The dovetail mechanism not only bolts the door opposite the exposed door but also keeps the doors closed when both are shut. Elective Automatic Signal Illuminations light up to designate the attendance of cases inside the cabinet. Cabinets are obtainable with pass box suppliers with or without lead coating. Lead lining (1/16” or 1/8” dense) is totally enfolded around the cartridge sections into the wall flange. The door lead overlays the cupboard lead lining for complete radioactivity defense. The cupboard lead is cut with the tiniest of linkages and each coupling is covered. The fused, armored, double sheet metal edifice, durable pivots, and unique fastening system yield a cupboard intended to give long trouble-free amenity.
