Restrictive lung disease refers to a condition where people fail to fill their lungs with air fully. Here, the respiratory organ is restricted from fully expanding. The situation is serious and results because of stiffness caused in the lungs. Besides this, causes like weak muscles, damaged nerves, stiffness in the chest wall, and damaged nerves also lead to this condition.
