Has anyone here tried Torgol, the Tor-based search engine that's been gaining some traction lately? It claims to offer a more efficient way to search the dark web with indexing of .onion sites, real-time crawling, and improved filtering to reduce scams and dead links.
I’ve been testing it out for the past few days and it seems cleaner and more intuitive than older tools like Ahmia or Not Evil (RIP). The UI is surprisingly smooth for a Tor-based service.
What are your thoughts on:
The effectiveness of Torgol in discovering reliable onion services?
Privacy concerns – is it truly anonymous or just surface-deep?
How does it compare with other dark web search engines you've used?
Let’s open this up for discussion. I’d love to hear your experiences, tips, or any warnings you've come across using Torgol.
