The Waterbury Ocean series is part of our effort to recreate our past in order to protect it for the future. This unique wristwatch, the first of its type from Timex, has a casing, bracelet, and dial made from recycled plastic that was destined for the ocean. Through our partnership with #tide, the waste is collected by fishermen from the coastlines, washed, and then shredded before being transported to Switzerland using carbon-neutral means. From there, it is repurposed on-site to create a premium, sustainable material. The light blue, nautical-themed dial of the Waterbury Ocean is embellished with distinctive flakes of shredded cloth, and the iconic Waterbury design itself pays homage to our long history of fine watchmaking. With the reliable performance you'd expect from a Timex watch, luminant hands, and 30 metres of water resistance, you can navigate unknown seas.
