Thread Ring Gauges are used to check the outside major diameter and pitch diameter limits on threaded parts. Available in ACME, Straight pipe, and Taper pipe styles. The main function of Ring Gauges is to establish on a go/no-go basis whether the part being gauged falls within the dimensional tolerance that was set for it.
