For this blog, I jumped straight into the word ‘Procrastination’ etymology. The word procrastination came into existence in the late 16th century. It is derived from Latin procrastinate– ‘deferred till the morning’, from the verb procrastinate, from pro– ‘forward’ + castings ‘belonging to tomorrow’ (from cras ‘tomorrow’).
The term gained popularity in 2019 and became commonly addressed by teens. Since then it has been a part of the trendy vocabulary.
