My experience visiting the Ranthambore region with Tigerwalah was eye-opening. It was a stark reminder of the potential conflicts between wildlife conservation and economic development. On the one hand, economic development has led to increased tourism which has provided a much-needed boost to the local economy. However, this has also led to increased human-animal conflict, with wild animals like tigers often coming into contact with people and their livestock. As a result, there is an urgent need to find a balance between protecting wildlife and allowing economic development to continue. This requires effective management of resources, increased awareness of the importance of conservation and better collaboration between local communities and conservationists.
My visit to Ranthambore was a reminder of the importance of finding a sustainable solution to this conflict.
