With the help of Tigerwalah, I was able to visit various sites and learn about the deep connection between tigers and Indian culture.
I was amazed by how the tiger is revered as a symbol of power, protection and strength in Indian mythology. From Lord Shiva riding on a tiger to the goddess Durga being depicted with a tiger as her mount, these creatures hold a special place in Indian culture.
Through my travels, I also learned about the threats faced by these magnificent creatures due to habitat loss and poaching. It was heartening to see the efforts being made by organizations like Tigerwalah to protect these animals and preserve their cultural significance for future generations to come.
