The Taj Mahal in India will be outfitted with an advanced drone neutralisation platform to counter aerial threats. The technology will be provided by the Uttar Pradesh Police and the Central Industrial Security Force. The effort follows India's response to the Pahalgam atrocity which involved targeted strikes against nine terror hotspots in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The drone neutralisation technology will have an effective radius of roughly 200 meters (viability). The drone neutralisation platform proved effective in a pre-trial with a viable range of about 7-8 kilometres. A specialized reaction team will be formed. Umar Khatib of the Uttar Pradesh police wants the installation completed shortly.
