The first postal stamp of India was release in 1st July 1852 in Sindh District with the portrait of Queen Victoria valid through India till 1854. The First stamp started with denomination of 1 Anna, 2 Anna and 4 Anna, and the first stamp of Independent India was on 21st November 1947 which was valued at 3 and one-half Annas.
Here it contains 4 stamps of Republic India Mint Stamp year pack 1949.
