SSLC certificate attestation is the process of validating the authenticity of a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) for official purposes. This process involves several stages, starting with notarization, where a notary public confirms the genuineness of the document's signature. Next, the certificate undergoes Board Attestation by the issuing education board, such as the State Board or CBSE Board. Subsequently, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Department of the certificate's state verifies its authenticity. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in India then attests the certificate, confirming the validity of the signature, seal, or stamp. Finally, the certificate is attested by the Embassy or Consulate of the destination country where it will be used for official matters.
