At Shanti Home, we offer indoor and outdoor mental health services, drug addiction treatment, rehabilitation programs for chronic psychiatric patients, occupational, psychological assessments and psychosocial interventions, as well as daycare. Additionally, the team provides guidance and treatment for children and adolescents, as well as disability assessments, including learning disorders and autistic disorders. The facility also runs Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) meetings for people who care for people with chronic psychiatric disorders.

Under the able leadership of Dr. Manish S. Kansal (CMD), the Shanti Home was founded in 2007 by a group of mental health professionals. After having graduated with a medical degree from B.J.M.C. Pune, Dr. Kansal pursued a postgraduate degree in psychiatry from G.S.M.C. and KEM Hospital Mumbai. A leading psychiatric specialist in Delhi, he has a wide variety of experiences. Additionally, Dr. Kansal is the first Indian Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) who was trained under Dr. Smith, Chairperson of the National Association of Drug Abuse (NADA), USA. Moreover, Dr. Kansal has actively participated in the Delhi Psychiatric Society (DPS) as General Secretary (2003-09), Vice President (2010-12) and President (2012-14).
