India captain Rohit Sharma has shed light on the team's decision to pick four spinners for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the Americas. Rohit asserted that the move was a well-thought-out strategy, considering the conditions and the timing of the matches, rather than being influenced by the IPL performances.Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel form the spin quartet, giving India a potent bowling attack. Rohit emphasised that the team management was clear about their approach, stating, "I definitely wanted four spinners. We have played a lot of cricket there. The match starts at 10 am in the morning. There is a technical aspect involved in this."While the captain refrained from revealing the specifics behind the spin-heavy strategy, he highlighted the importance of balance and flexibility in the squad. "With two of them being all-rounders and two attacking options, it gives you balance. Based on opposition, we can decide who to play," Rohit added.
