What is Robotic Total Knee Replacement?
Robotic total knee replacement is a surgery that involves replacing the damaged or diseased parts of the knee with artificial components. The goal of the surgery is to relieve pain and restore function. It is performed using a computer-assisted device known as a robotic arm.
The robotic arm is guided by the surgeon and helps to position the artificial components accurately. This results in a more precise surgery with less blood loss and fewer complications. In addition, patients who undergo robotic total knee replacement tend to have a quicker recovery and experience less pain than those who have traditional total knee replacement surgery.
