A PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Oxygen Generator is an advanced system that produces pure oxygen directly on-site. It uses a special technique called pressure swing adsorption to separate oxygen from the air. The air we breathe contains 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and small amounts of other gases. A PSA generator captures this air, removes nitrogen, and delivers oxygen at high purity levels (up to 95%).
The process works with two towers filled with a material called zeolite, which traps nitrogen while letting oxygen flow through. By alternating the pressure between the towers, the generator ensures a constant supply of oxygen.
