Profile - Production Engineer

Qualification - B.Tech - Mechanical, Metallurgical

Experience - Min. 2 + yrs in manufacturing industry

Salary - 20k to 45k

Production Planning and Process Optimization:

Plan and schedule production activities to ensure a smooth, continuous manufacturing process and timely delivery of products.

Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization (e.g., raw materials, labor, and equipment).

Process Monitoring And Control

Monitor the galvanizing process, including surface preparation, coating thickness, and zinc bath temperature, to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Maintain control over critical parameters such as pre-treatment chemical concentrations, dipping times, and drying conditions to achieve consistent product quality.

Quality Assurance And Control

Implement quality control procedures to ensure finished galvanized products meet specified standards and customer requirements.

Conduct inspections and tests on materials and products at various stages of production, checking for defects such as uneven coating, pinholes, and poor adhesion.

Equipment Maintenance And Troubleshooting

Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, such as galvanizing tanks, furnaces, pickling tanks, and cranes, to prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshoot issues in the production line, coordinating with maintenance teams to quickly resolve mechanical or process-related problems.

Safety And Compliance

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, given the potentially hazardous nature of galvanizing (e.g., fumes, high temperatures, and chemicals).

Promote a safe work environment by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on safety protocols, and implementing necessary protective measures.
