A Power of Attorney is a legal document which states about the sharing of the authority. This authorization document states that a person (Principal or Donor) gives the authority to another person (Attorney, Agent or Donee) to act on his behalf in matters related to property, business affairs, legal matters, financial and banking transactions. This POA authorizes the Attorney to represent the Principal either in his absence or even in his presence where the latter may not be in a situation to take care by himself. When the Principal is not able to handle the dealings, then the Attorney does that on behalf of the Principal. There are two types of POA. It is either General or Special.
