To remove the unnecessary copper from the board a mechanical milling process will use CNC machines. In covering the regions where traces must exist there is the application of an etch-resistant, silk-screen, printing process.
The PCBA Assembly China board contains copper traces without any circuit components at this point in the PCB fabrication process. In mounting the components, there needs to be drilling of holes at the points where the electrical and electronics parts are placed on the board.
