Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Cuttack to select the candidates for the post of the teachers for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided in the state of Odisha. It is basically a qualifying exam and the applicants who clear this exam will get the eligibility for Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) held by the state government.
To work as a teacher for classes 1 to 8 in private schools across the state (Odisha) qualifying OTET is mandatory. The OTET Exam comprises two levels: Primary level and Upper primary level.
