We all like science-fiction or Sci-Fi stuff, don’t we?
With all the movies that fantasize about robots and machines fighting against each other, some part of that fan-base has always wanted to be a certain Mr. Stark right? With modern trends in technology, there hasn’t been a better time than now to enhance knowledge with skills that’ll help us build our own machines. To start that off, a basic understanding of coding and designing things can be of great help. And what better way than to learn from an educational kit that helps us to understand the foundations of robotics easily?
Welcome, DIYA’s Biped BOT! A new-age tech equipment that is used the world over to help young minds to learn new concepts in assembly and coding.
It is a model that is 3D printed for assembly. Aimed at teaching kids and curious minds the logic behind coding and programming, this Bot comes with some assembly required. Putting together the physical components firstly teaches some basics behind the mechanical assembly. Post this, the electrical wiring needs to be done like that of a nervous system in the human body. The coding has to be then uploaded into the brains of the Bot. All this takes some degree of know-how and a little mentorship.
Now, what can the Bot really do? It can be made to walk, dance, detect and move around obstacles and show emotions, among various other functions. With a little technical know-how, it can even be your own personal assistant!
This BOT has a bunch of sensors that help it sense the environment around it. With inputs from those sensors, the BOT performs actions based on program logic stored in it. It belongs to what is called a “Bi-Ped humanoid” architecture. This means it has two legs for motion and movement. Not only is this a good tool for beginners, but it can also help bridge new innovations, and propel IoT integration.
The key highlight of these projects is the fact that there is always an international community present for discussions and support on addressing your queries and questions. Now, that not only provides room for development but also exposes the student to a broader cultural audience and larger order of thinking. We, at DIYA, leverage our expertise in enabling bright young minds with a vision to build their future through 21st-century technology.
If building and tinkering with electronic components sound interesting, try your hand at learning the craft behind the operation of Bi-Ped BOTs with us. With a block-based programming approach, coding language is not mandatory! And the best part is, our BOTs are continuously evolving and newer versions with various innovative features are being developed.
