The 5th Edition of the NABH Hospital Accreditation Standards is recognized by the International Society for Quality Healthcare External Evaluation Association, and the accreditation is good through April 2024.
In order to design and manage an accreditation system for healthcare organizations, the Quality Council of India (QCI) established the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). The NABH was founded to strengthen the healthcare system and to advance patient safety and ongoing quality improvement. All parties, including business, consumers, and the government, support the board, yet it nevertheless retains complete operational authority. Regardless of ownership, legal position, or other factors, NABH gives accreditation to hospitals in a non-discriminatory way.
