Mysore Palace is a historical palace situated in the city of Mysore in the south Indian state of Karnataka . It had been the official residence of the royal Wadiyar dynasty and also the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore.Mysore palace was built by Yaduraya – the first king of the Kingdom of Mysore (from 1399-1423 AD) – it was the first palace built inside Old Fort (which is the current name for the land on which the palace stands) in the 14th century.
