Key Responsibilities:
• Accurate posting of Patient demographic, Charge Entry or Payment Posting transactions in the client’s revenue cycle system.
Charge entry involves entering appropriate and accurate information, data, and values as part of a patient's medical records. This may include medical and billing codes and insurance.
A Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and reviewing medical billing codes for patient services and treatments.
They ensure that the billing codes accurately reflect the services provided by healthcare professionals, and that all charges are correctly entered into the billing system.
The duties of a Charge Entry Specialist may also include reviewing and reconciling billing reports, monitoring claim denials and rejections, and providing support to billing and coding teams to ensure timely reimbursement for healthcare services.
A Charge Entry Specialist must have a strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing and coding regulations, and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Qualification: Any Degree
Eligibility: 0-4 years of experience
Work Location: Chennai
Salary: 15K to 18K (can be negotiable based on Experience)
Schedule: Day shift + OT (if Needed)
