Load Bearing Wall Removal

Expert Wall Removal is part of the Expert Building & Trades Group and with 40 years’ experience in the business we know walls. Did you know that not all walls are created equal? Some carry weight to prop up our homes and some are partition wall to create the rooms we live in. It’s important to get this right as some walls carry a heavy load (load bearing wall) and if removed must be replaced with another way of carrying or distributing the weight. If this isn’t done correctly the consequences can be expensive to fix. Firstly, we will determine the existing structure and design the beam and supports required to safely hold the existing structure, then we remove the wall and install the required beam and supports. Our engineers will do the heavy lifting on this one and ensure the correct technical specifications so that your new space is supported in accordance with Victorian building regulations.
