Lavender Flower Tea in Lucknow, Lavender is a beautiful purple flower that actually belongs to the Mint family and so does Basil, Oregano, and thyme. Lavender tea is made by brewing the purple buds of the lavender flower, Lavendula Angustifolia.



In India, it is grown in the hilly terrain of Uttarakhand, Kashmir, and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. The most common variety grown in India is Sher-e-Kashmir. The alkalinity of the soil in which lavender grows directly affects its fragrance.



It is found to calm nerves, improve sleep and provide many other health benefits. Its oil is most commonly used in aromatherapy to ward off anxiety, depression, and fatigue.



This tea is found to be very useful in boosting the mood and producing calming effect and inducing better sleep. It is also been found to reduce menstrual cramps. 1) Do not leave the green tea bag in the teacup itself (until and unless you want it strong), it will make your tea bitter.
2) Do not squeeze your tea/ tea bag, it will make your tea bitter.
3) Do not use very hot water (+90 c) for green tea, it will make it bitter.
4) Remove the tea bag and reuse it up to 2-3 times, but be sure that the strength will keep on reducing.
