Kumbhalgarh is a fortress, from the time of Mewar dynasty (on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, located near Udaipur of Rajasthan state in western India. Kumbhalgarh fort was built during the 15th century by Rana Kumbha – the ruler of Mewar kingdom in India (the region where the Fort exists), who reigned between 1433-1468 CE.
