Andar Bahar is usually played with a deck of cards. First, the dealer shuffles the deck and then deals one card at a time to the middle of the table. They keep doing this until there are two cards left in the deck. At this point, the dealer puts a card in his hand and holds it up for all players to see. This is known as the 'inside' card. The second card is placed at the opposite end of the table and is known as the 'Andar Bahar' card.
