Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible DG (Diesel Generator) Operator to handle the operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of diesel generator sets. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, checking system parameters, and addressing minor faults to maintain efficiency and safety. The DG Operator will also be responsible for record-keeping and assisting in preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor diesel generator (DG) sets during power outages or as required.

Conduct routine checks on fuel, oil, coolant levels, and battery conditions.

Record operational data such as running hours, fuel consumption, and performance logs.

Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance of the DG set.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a DG Operator or in a similar role preferred.

Knowledge of diesel engine operations and safety standards.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance.

Physical stamina and willingness to work in shifts.

ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent qualification preferred.
