kariavattom University Distance Education was started in 1976 as a research and teaching department of the university, it was one of the colonial centers of distance education in the state. Distance Education Kerala University offers 25 programs which include UG and PG courses through distance mode of education under the Department of Literature, Commerce, Science, Humanities, Library Science and IT and Information Science.
