Located right in the middle of the beautiful city of Jaipur, the Jhalana Leopard Conservation Reserve is the host to more than 30 leopards and 5 cubs presently! You also have the opportunity of visiting Shikaar Audhi, the three-storeyed hunting lodge of the Maharajas of Rajasthan, located right in the middle of the conservatory! It also has an animal-spotting platform that you can you enjoy the sunset or the sunrise from! If you wish to visit the Audhi, it can be included in the package as an add-on!
The sprawling conservatory, spread over 20 square km, boasts of a large population of other wildlife species indigenous to Rajasthan such as the Striped Hyena, the Desert Fox, the Golden Jackal, Blue Bulls, Rhesus Macaque, Bengal Monitor, Porcupines, the Chital, Indian Palm Civets, etc. This experience is a treat for bird watching enthusiasts as well, since the Jhalana Safari Leopard Conservatory boasts of a large population of various bird species like the Indian Pitta, Dusky Eagle, Owl, Spotted Owlet, etc.
Explore the reserve in an open-air gypsy. You can choose between two slots for the experience: 6:45 AM to 9:30 AM, or 3:30 PM to 6:15 PM, as per your convenience.
