Specification As an IT Operations Specialist you will bring innovation and efficiencies to the IT department that is accountable for business and technical services. Responsibilities: Drive operational efficiencies by adopting innovation and automation, including the owning the underpinnings technologies Manage the innovation and technical pipeline and escalated problems, working to prioritise solutions from the technical backlog Take ownership and manage the problem management process, conduct reviews to minimise major incidents. Hold periodical reviews of active problems, event logs and known error database. Hold brainstorming sessions to identify trends and carry out proactive problem management creating items for the technical pipeline Work within a team to deliver services into production, including upgrading and decommissioning Demonstrate and foster a collaborative team approach and interact well with all functions and management providing consultation and expert advice Demonstrable documentation skills
