ISO 45001 is an international standard for Occupation Safety and Health Management systems. Occupation Safety and Health Management System also stands for OH&S. They give guidance for its use to enable an organization to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and illness of people.
ISO 45001 is concerned with mitigating any ideas or factors that could be harmful or that can cause any danger to workers’ mental and physical well-being. Thousands of workers lose their lives each day because of adverse workplace conditions. Around 2.7 million deaths are caused due occupational accidents. Around 374 million non–fatal injuries each year, resulted in 4 or more days of absence from work.
