There is plenty of scope for BDS graduates today in India and overseas. Besides that, there has been a spurt in the number of private and government Dental schools coming up, where BDS graduates can enlist as Clinical tutors, lecturers, and assistant professors. Apart from that the Indian Armed forces, Central Police Forces, and the Central and State Governments also regularly look to employ dentists.

Indian Dental Professionals are a vogue in the Gulf states, where they after passing that nation's qualifying examination can join the state Dental profession. These jobs are well-paid and come with sizable other monetary and social benefits.
