Industrial Computing (IPC’s) have now become a generic term in todays scenario. They come in various sizes, shapes & specifications, many of them are specifically designed to fit certain requirements of that application. Thus IPC’s used in Oil & Gas applications have certifications like ATEX or EX1 and thus they are intrinsically safe to operate in highly inflammable environments.
