Indian Institute of Technology - [IITP], Patna is a public state university that came into existence in the year 2008. It was a public state university accredited by AICTE that was situated in Patna, Bihar. The main programs offered 20 courses across 4 programs at IIT Patna are undergraduate and postgraduate. The undergrad level is comprised of courses in computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, and finally metallurgical and materials engineering.
Admission to IIT Patna bachelor's programs is limited to one course per student. The University offers undergraduate programs in eight streams. In order to be admitted, students must pass both JEE Main & JEE Advanced tests.
