Job Description:
Accountant TDS, GST & Tally Expert | 1 Year Experience | Anna Nagar, Chennai
Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site
Experience: Minimum 1 year in accounting or related role
Qualification:
Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or any relevant degree

Certifications (preferred): Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, GST Practitioner, etc.

Salary:
15,000 22,000 per month (based on skill & company policy)

Potential for annual increment and performance bonuses

Job Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting entries using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

Filing and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

Deduction and filing of TDS; working with Form 16, 26AS

Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records

Bank reconciliation and petty cash handling

Prepare basic reports like trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Key Skills Required:
Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime (must)

GST Return Filing & Compliance

TDS Calculation and Payment

Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables)

Attention to detail and numeric accuracy

Good communication and time management
