Ethics has been one of the most dreaded and ignored subjects by utmost applicants, substantially because of no previous exposure to the subject
but in the mains test, it has value original to Ancient history, medieval history, world history, ultramodern history, Indian and world terrain, and Indian society combined. ( 250 marks)
We're set to read 10s of books and notes for history each subject with far lower weightage in the test, but can not concentrate on this one subject with a vastly lower syllabus( at least applicants like me generally ignore this section, unless they HAVE to write mains.)
