How do I change flight date on Air Canada

Air Canada allows any passenger to change their flight within 24 hours of the booking without applying any flight change or other processing charges irrespective of the type of the booked ticket.

A flight change after 24 hours from the booking may or may not invite flight change charges, whose amounts depend upon the type of flight class and ticket you had.

For other classes, $25 to $125 can be charged for a flight change.

Selecting a new flight within 60 days of the original flight invites higher charges than the days after the said period.

In case of a flight cancelation or a delay from Air Canada itself, one can book a new flight without paying any charges.

If the new flight has a higher cost than the original one, the difference in the fare would have to be paid. However, suppose the total price of the new flight, including the flight change charges, is lower than the original flight reservations cost. In that case, the balance amount will be refunded to the commuter by Air Canada.
