Description

The National Kitchen & Bath Association proposes these basic permissions and scrubs sink sizes founded on its design strictures and typical code necessities. Always check with your local building section for rules.
Sinks
A least clear floor space of 30x48 inches must be provided in front of the lavatory. Up to 19 inches of the 48-inch floor space can outspread under the lavatory when a knee space is offered. The least clear space from the centerline of the lavatory to any side wall is 15 inches. The tallness of the scrub sink made by Scrub Sink Manufacturers or vanity must fit the user(s).
Toilets and Bidets
Most codes need at least 15 inches (offered from the center of the toilet) from any side wall or obstacle and not nearer than 30 inches center to center to any other scrub sink supplied by the Scrub Sink Suppliers. (The NKBA endorses 32 inches.) There must be at least 24 inches of clear space in front of the scrub sink bought from Scrub Sink Suppliers or bidet.
