The Manual Transmission in the 5th Gen (MT) now includes six forward speed ratios for both gasoline and diesel automobiles. This is great especially if you’re planning to go on long drives since it not only makes driving more enjoyable but it also saves money on gas. The 5 gear ratios are only optimised for thrilling acceleration, while the extra 6th gear overdrive ratio maximises stress-free low engine rotations while travelling at high speeds. It also improves fuel economy. The 6-Speed MT i-VTEC (Petrol) has a mileage of 17.8 km/l while the 6-Speed MT i-DTEC (Diesel) has a mileage of 24.1 km/l.
There is always more when it comes to the 5th Gen Honda City, book a test drive with Ace Honda to check it out yourself.
