It’s a nice touch and the biggest cosmetic mechanical addition to a car with an effort to protect the driveline and keep efficiency intact. If your car is in automatic mode, you just need to push the paddle to put the car in manual mode. The paddle shifters allow you to shift gear while holding the steering wheel without moving your hand to the gear lever.
