Description
A series of tubes containing stacks of spiral wound membranes have consisted of a high recovery RO system. On high-pressure containers, these tubes are mounted. With a mesh in between, sealed along the sides, the membrane stack consists of two very long semi-permeable membranes. With another mesh, this is wound up in a spiral tube to separate the outside of the stack. For transfer, a very large surface area is offered by the spiral winding.
