Hex Slotted Nuts or Castle Nuts from DIC Fasteners in Custom as well as non-custom sizes and materials. Start at a 1/4 inch and go up to a 2” thread size. The nuts have a slot on the top generally used with a cotter pin to secure the fastener, making it possible to insert a split pin and secure the nut in place. Hex Slotted Nuts are used where longer engagement length is needed.
